This ring is a piece of history encased in silver, literally. This stone is in fact layers and layers of paint from and old car shops railing where they used to paint cars. When technology advanced and the paint didn't fly everywhere anymore, the shops were abandoned. Artisans decided to go in and salvage what they could out of the shops. This piece is a result of that. Even more intriguing is that it is possible to tell the era that cars were in based on the paint pattern. This particular piece is from the era of the '69 Camaro.
